Christmas 2008

This year we continued our tradition of staying home on Christmas. I have to say that it is a wonderful thing. On Christmas Eve we had a turkey dinner with Beeka and Chris, and then let the kids open one gift each. (necessary in order to avoid "present anxiety attacks", a real medical condition). We then sat around the fire place and listened to Christmas music (very Norman Rockwellish). After we put out treats for Santa and the Reindeer, we went to bed. After visions of sugar plums danced through our heads, we woke up rather early, and came down stairs to see a mound of presents under our tree. Boy, we must have been good this year! Major present highlights: Wii, Rockband, Geotrax, sock monkey, pug dogs, clothes, camera. We spent the rest of the day playing! I actually was sore the next day from playing too much Rockband. It was a great Christmas.
